Security

Confidentiality is the baseline.

Law firm data is sensitive by default. Case to Close keeps each firm's information separate and keeps a record of every change.

Firm data is walled off

Each firm's data is walled off from every other firm, enforced in the database itself with row-level security. Conflict searches never look at other firms.

Two-factor sign-in

Two-factor sign-in is available for every account. Passwords have a 12-character minimum, and passwords found in known breaches are rejected.

Role-based access

Owner, attorney, paralegal, intake and viewer roles decide who can see and change what. Viewers read only.

Tamper-proof audit log

The audit log records who changed what and when. It cannot be edited or deleted.

Data hosted in the United States

Firm data is hosted in the United States and encrypted in transit and at rest.

Invitation only

Accounts are created by invitation only. There is no public sign-up.

AI policy

We only use AI providers that do not train on your data and that process data in the United States. AI output stays a draft until an attorney approves it.
